CL:AIRE

CL:AIRE (Contaminated Land Applications in Real Environments) is public/private partnership providing a link amongst the main stakeholders in contaminated land remediation in the UK, to catalyse the development of cost-effective methods of investigating and remediating contaminated land in a sustainable way. It has expertise in project management, demonstration site management, permeable reactive barrier applications, technology verification and knowledge transfer.

CL:AIRE is assisting in a wide variety of project activities, including the project launch, and the development of knowledge transfer materials. CL:AIRE will provide application expertise for the design and implementation of the NITRABAR system. It will lead in the preparation of the NITRABAR recommendations report, a key deliverable in the project. CL:AIRE will also manage a stakeholder workshop in the UK, as part of the project’s dissemination programme.

NITRABAR is a CL:AIRE Technology Demonstration Project.
